Overview

Home to the Mountain Gorilla.

Arranged in the Northwest of Rwanda, in Musanze locale. Lies along the Virunga Mountains, with 8 old volcanoes, which are shared by Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Only a short two hour drive from Rwanda’s capital of Kigali, the recreation center is a focal area for investigating some particularly Rwandan encounters. While a visit to the mountain gorillas is regularly at the highest point of guest, the sensational scene likewise offers exciting climbing and visits to the interesting brilliant monkeys.

There is nothing more blissful than experiencing a completely developed silverback gorilla, up to multiple times the size of a normal man, yet amazingly serene, lively and tolerant of human guests.

Exercises we do in this district include: Gorilla Trekking, Golden Monkey Trekking, Crater Lake climb, Mt Bisoke Hiking, Dian Fossey Tomb trail, Culture visits, Musanze cavern.

Itinerary

Morning arrive into Kigali – to an orientation tour of Kigali City, including the genocide museum and museum of natural history. Enjoy lunch at one of Kigali’s popular restaurants, before driving in the afternoon, to the Volcanoes National Park for overnight.

Gorilla trek, followed by lunch at your lodge. Afternoon, drive to Lake Kivu for overnight.

Spend the morning at the shores of Lake Kivu, with optional leisure activities lunch at your hotel and drive back to Kigali, airport transfer.
