Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, embracing the fringe with Tanzania. It’s portrayed by forest, swamps, low mountains and savannah. You will visit :
Prepare for pick-up at 7.00am. Our driver brief you on the safari and then travel to East of Rwanda to Akagera National Park. Check in at Akagera Game Lodge for dinner and over night.
Be up for breakfast at 6.30 and begin the game drive at 7.00am. This early morning game drive is an incredible chance to get the ambitious people and the predators/nighttime before they come back to their safehouses. Anticipate incredible sightings of elephants, wild oxen, giraffes, zebras,lions,gazelles, spotted hyenas, impalas, lions, monkeys, warthogs, bushbucks, topi, oribis, and panthers. Following three hours of untamed life sightings you come back to the cabin for lunch and brief unwinding.
After the mid-day break you go for the evening vessel ride on Lake Ihema. The pontoon ride offers incredible untamed life sightings including hippos and crocodiles at a nearby experience. Lake Ihema offers an incredible open door for feathered creature viewing with more than 500 fowl species including the shoebill stork, herons, jacanas, ibis, gonolek among others.
